Kimberly Dawn Neumann is a New York City-based freelance writer and Broadway performer. Her work has appeared in such publications as Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Fitness, Marie Claire, and several online publications including Match.com's Happen and MSN's Dating and Personals. Her onstage work has ranged from roles in several Broadway shows including Ragtime, Kiss Me Kate and Urban Cowboy, to countless appearances on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."

'I think the SHI symbol is a brilliant idea! I mean, I always check a guy's left hand when I'm out to see if he's available and I know men do the same with women. But that only works if the person is married. And if there isn't a wedding ring, you still don't know if they're single, straight or gay, in a relationship, whatever.
How great would it be if people could just instantly recognize that a person is Single, Happy and Interested by the jewelry they wear as well! It would certainly help assuage some of the dating confusion.
I've started wearing my SHI necklace and spreading the word...because I am single, happy and interested...and looking for Mr. Right.'
